Okay, I’ll confess. I’m among the hundreds of thousands of women (and a few good men) who love to knit, and I have more yarn than one woman has a right to own. I can’t help myself. I’m crazy about yarn and any kind of fiber that can be knitted. I have projects lined up so far I’d have to live three lifetimes to finish them.

Sound familiar? Then welcome to the club—my Knitters’ Club, a section of my website devoted to my grand passion of knitting.

Here you'll find:

  • Debbie's Projects – each month I’ll share photos of my just completed projects and information on how I found the yarn and the patterns.

  • Readers' Projects — Many of you have sent me photos of your projects, so this page is for you. If you’d like to share what you’re knitting with me and other members of the Club, send the following information to knitting@debbiemacomber.com

    1. A photo of your project as a scan attached to your e-mail
    2. Size and kind of needles
    3. Brand, weight and color of yarn
    4. Name of the pattern, and where you found the pattern (in what publication, etc.)
    5. A note telling me something about your project—whom you’re knitting it for, etc.
    6. Your e-mail address, with permission to post this online with your project so that readers will be able to communicate directly with you concerning questions about your knitted item.

If you have difficulty sending this information in an e-mail, you may mail a photo of your project and the other information to the address below, but photos will not be returned:

  • Knitting Notions — information about the gorgeous new collection of knitting organizers and accessories launched in 2008 and designed and sold by Leisure Arts, the fine people who publish my Knit Along with Debbie pattern booklets. (All my proceeds from the notions and pattern booklets go to knitting charities and World Vision.)

  • Pattern Booklets Information on my Knit Along with Debbie Pattern Booklets from Leisure Arts — five gorgeous booklets to date, three that go with my women who knit novels: The Shop on Blossom Street, A Good Yarn and Back on Blossom Street; a fourth called The Cedar Cove Collection, about knitters who reside in my fictional town of Cedar Cove, and the fifth, Debbie's Favorites.

  • Knitting & Crochet Patterns (some from my knitting novels set on Blossom Street, plus a free pattern of the month, compliments of Leisure Arts).

This is going to be such fun. I can’t wait to share with you!

Your friend in knitting,
