An Early Start
I’ve always been an enthusiastic person; eager and naturally upbeat. This morning, however, I outdid myself. My walking partner, Martha Powers, and I meet at 7 a.m. to walk. Because of the deep freeze we’ve been experiencing in the south the last couple of weeks we haven’t been walking. The alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. as usual and I did my normal morning writing and reading to start off my day. When I glanced at the clock I was shocked at how quickly time had gotten away from me. I hurriedly rushed out the door and drove to the walking track, only to discover I had arrived at six instead of seven. There is something to be said about looking at the clock more closely!
I hope your day has a better start!
