Minneapolis
It’s my first day on the "tour road," and I’m in Minneapolis. Upon arrival I didn’t go to the hotel, did not pass go, went directly to the Mall of America (on the pretense of checking out the signing location, when in reality I wanted to try out my brand new credit card). It works!
One hazard of being on tour is visiting all those wonderful book stores–in which I always buy books–and end up carrying them in my suitcase. I love bookstores just as much as yarn stores. This time I vow I am going to have them shipped home.
Tomorrow I’ll have an early morning TV appearance, yarn store shopping, yarn store visits, and the event at the Mall of America. If you’re in the area, come knit with me at 6 p.m. and then the signing is at 7 p.m. It’s going to be a good day!
Next day: Photos taken at the Mall of America signing.

The ladies were making a day of it at the Mall and then meeting Debbie for the signing during her HANNAH’S LIST book tour in April 2010. They ran into Debbie during lunch and took the opportunity to gift her with the beautiful, handmade quilt they brought right then and there! Debbie is thrilled with the gift. Deb Anderson, pictured with Debbie and the quilt, is the quilter.
