My books are going to the dogs!  Traye Steele of Oklahoma City was at the May 11 signing to replace a book his dog, Winston, had eaten from his mother’s collection.  His mom, Virginia Steele, is a cancer survivor.   Lisa Pruitt of Bethany had me sign a book to her dog, Lola.  It seems Lola has a taste for my books—so much so that she’s eaten two of them already!  I couldn’t help but sign this book, “To Lola — I hope you enjoy this one as much as the others!”

There were so many more wonderful stories as I met readers in Oklahoma City, Wichita, and now Kansas City.  Thanks to all of you who are taking time off from work, driving long distances or chancing bad weather to come out and say hi.  It means the world to meet you and hear your stories.  I am blessed by your kindnesses to me.
