Christmas Crazies
The wonderful Christmas craziness is hitting me this week. Tonight the entire family has been invited to a party in downtown Seattle. Tomorrow I’ve invited those I swim with to my house for a special Christmas Tea. It’s always fun to see what we look like wearing street clothes rather than swimming togs. On Thursday I’m meeting with local writers for our annual Christmas Potluck. Then on Friday, I’m hosting a Knitters Tea for my knitting friends. It’s bound to be a whirlwind week, and while it might be a little hectic, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Christmas Crazies
The Christmas craziness is well in progress. On Saturday alone I did a Christmas Breakfast with Delilah (yes, the Delilah of radio fame!) for 75 guests, followed by a Christmas potluck with my local writers’ chapter held in my home. That same evening I was given the honor of lighting our city Christmas tree with great pageantry and pomp, followed by a fireworks display. On Sunday, after church, Wayne and I did a wee bit of shopping and then we vegged out. We both needed that.
