New Orleans and the Super Bowl
Having recently returned from New Orleans and the Big Game, I can tell you that city is one huge party town. And what a party it was! My daughter, Jody, attended with me and our son, Ted, was with his friend, Carl. The four of us walked to the game (I had 15,000 steps on my pedometer, my highest ever!) wearing our Seahawk jerseys. We ran into several other Seahawk fans, who all claimed it would be Seattle’s year in 2014. We shall see. The game wasn’t without excitement. Probably most memorable for us was the 35 minute break in the game because of a power outage and the walk back to our hotel with those celebrating and those in need of consolation.
