American Business Women’s Day
When I made the decision to become a writer I was utterly naïve to running my own business, especially when it came time for me to rent an office and hire my first assistant. I was required to make business decisions I felt inadequate to make. My solution was to reach out to other successful women and seek their advice. I invited four of the most successful women in my community to have tea with me. The rich dividends of that meeting continue on to this day. Those lovely women were more than happy to advise and counsel me. And for that I will be forever grateful.

Hi Debbie, Have you considered to counsel other people who have a dream of becoming an author? I would truly be blessed to have you counsel me on reaching my dream of becoming an author. Thank you Debbie.

So glad you decided to write. Your stories are so true to life and I think I’ve read every one of them, sometimes more than once. Keep it up, girl. I also think it’s great that you have included your kids in your business.

Hello Debbie, I just reread A Cedar Cove Christmas. I loved it more the third time around! I hope someday you will write a Christmas book about a modern day Christmas in the ghost town of Bitter End Texas. If you have done so I must have missed it. I love all your book….
Keep writing

Hello!
I am reading the Cedar Cove series and smile every time you mention the Pancake Palace, the Library and the Victorian Tea House. I was able to visit these places and meet you last June.
