Apple Pie
Jody, Adele, and my granddaughter, Maddy Rose and I canned apple pie filling a couple of weeks ago. Soon Wayne and Isaiah, another grandson, got involved peeling the apples with one of the devices that makes it fun and simple. The girls worked together and I made the sauce. It was truly a family affair. It’s times like these that create wonderful memories. As a bonus we have more apple pie filling to give as gifts and to enjoy right along with the laughter and the good times!

How truly wonderful. I hope to one day to have grandchildren and spend special time with them like this. When my children were younger I did things like this with them. Until I was unable to do such things with them. I am getting back into the swing of things. Hopefully they will remember what I taught them. You are truly and inspiration.

I just love hearing about your family time & adventures. What a great way to create some wonderful memories. I wish I could get my children into stuff like this. My son probably would, but my stepdaughter is a little more of a challenge. Keep sharing your memories, I love reading about them!

I just got home from my daughter’s wedding in Colorado in the mountains it was absolutely beautiful and came home to Apples that I need to can and I thought apple pie canning sauce. Please share the recipe thank you

Apple Pie is my favorite desert. I would love your recipe for canning it. I love my recipe, but don’t know if it would be good for canning, plus I don’t know how.
