Remodel Update
<< All ArticlesOur office was being renovated so I spent nearly five months writing at home, which was quite the switch for me. I’m accustomed to writing with my staff and lots of activity. I have a much smaller office above our garage so it was just Bogie and me. The truth is, I quite liked being at the house. It reminded me of the early days when I wrote in a small area off the kitchen. Now it’s time to move back and the timing is perfect. I’m starting my next book and it’s great to be back with the creative environment I’m most familiar with.

Looks beautiful. Where did you find the throw pillows?
Would love a bedspread with that pattern.

My sisters, Judy and Jean, and I were fortunate enough to visit the offices in November, 2016. The renovated offices look beautiful; sleek and modern, yet inviting and comfortable.

I bet the view from your windows is just fantastic! How do you ever get any work done? I would be staring out of them all of the time. This looks like you – serene and organized and extremely ready to cope with any challenge necessary. Enjoy your new space even if it is smaller! Sometimes that’s better – less space to clutter (and clean!)

Did you name your new space HEAVEN ON EARTH ? Totally agree with all of the above comments but when I think of the gifts God has given me, you are right on top. There is never a book of yours that I haven’t read that lifts me out of my situation with peace and courage in my heart. I was fortunate to be on your weekend when you had it in Nashville, and loved every moment and would just love to have you do one in Cedar Cove.
Thank you for being such a blessing to all of us and so happy to hear that Wayne is home and improving.
