As we close out a year like no other, we’re heading into the holidays (okay . . . we’re running toward them at full speed) focused on joy, renewal, great food, and unforgettable books. Are you on the same page?
We thought you might be. Join us for a special two-day virtual Holiday House event, presented by Zenni Optical and moderated by Read it Forward senior Senior Editor Abbe Wright, on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3, held from 7:30 – 9:00 PM ET on both days.
On Wednesday evening, you’ll get top holiday book recommendations from Madeline McIntosh, U.S. CEO of Penguin Random House, and Gillian Blake, editor-in-chief of Crown; play a round of Holiday Movie Trivia with R. Eric Thomas (Here For It); and close out the night with a Fireside Christmas Chat with Debbie Macomber (Jingle All The Way).
On Thursday, you’ll get cocktail, dinner, dessert, and tablescape demos from, respectively: John deBary (Drink What You Want), Maneet Chauhan (Chaat), Claire Saffitz (Dessert Person) and Chantal Aida Gordon and Ryan Benoit (How to Window Box) respectively; followed by the one and only Ina Garten (Modern Comfort Food) in conversation with Susan Corcoran, Random House director of publicity.
We can’t wait to celebrate these authors, their books, and a much-needed holiday season with you all. Tickets are $20 and will include a book of your choice by one of the featured authors along with admission to both evenings of the event, a virtual gift bag, and of course, plenty of raffles. We hope to see you there, and wish you happy, happy holidays. For more information, on Holiday House, click here.
Please note: all books will be shipped AFTER the event. We can only ship books within the United States, if you live outside of the U.S., please email pr@randomhouse.com
