I purchased a kit to knit this gorgeous lace shawl about 15 years ago at a knitting conference. It was my first lace project, before I knew about lifelines and stitch markers. I only got so far before I put it down and only recently picked it up again (I’ve been making a concerted effort to finish UFOs (unfinished objects) in my stash). Because of my inexperience with lace when I started this piece, I made several mistakes, which I simply repeated and incorporated into the pattern to make it my own!
