Mittens
<< All ArticlesHere are some of the mittens I’m donating to our local County Health Department. I knit mittens year round and donate them to the Local Mitten Tree, our Elementary School, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and other organizations. I read books (using a large metal clip to keep them open) while knitting so I get to do both hobbies that I enjoy so much (especially reading Debbie’s books) at the same time and still help keep children’s hands warm during the winter.
Pattern: Converted 2-needle mitten pattern using 4 needles
Yarn: Various colors, using worsted weight yarn; baby yarn for baby mittens made on 2 needles
Needle Size: Four double-pointed needles, Size 3 for the cuff and Size 5 for the mitten
