Victorian Shoulderette
<< All ArticlesPATTERN: Victorian Shoulderette, by Sivia Harding Knit Design, www.siviaharding.com
Yarn: I used a yarn which I had bought while in Ireland years ago now – probably twenty years – so see? A stash of yarn is never wasted in my home! The pattern called for 250 yards, but I used 300 yards to make it bigger and to increase the middle section.
Emerald Aran, 100% wool, Blarney Woollen Mills, Ireland
Needles: US Size 6 / 4 mm circular needle, 24”/60 cm long
COMMENTS: This was such a quick knit with great results, that I’m sure I will knit it again! The color in the photos don’t do justice to the actual color – a muted, darker tone of cornflower blue. It reminds me of the Puget Sound when it is rough and choppy.
