1 Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar
1 package Green Rips Licorice belts
3 cups twist pretzels
6 oz red Candy Melts
Cut each rectangle of chocolate into 6-8 sticks for the stems. Set aside. Using kitchen scissors, cut each Rips licorice crosswise into 1/2” pieces. Round off two opposite corners of each rectangle so it looks like a leaf. Set aside.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the red candy melts at 50% power for one minute. Stir, then microwave at 50% power for 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then place a cooling rack on top of the parchment. Dip a pretzel into the melted chocolate, turning to coat completely. Use a fork to lift pretzel out of the chocolate, and tap against the side of the bowl a few times to remove excess. Place on cooling rack. Add a chocolate stem to the top, making sure it touches part of the red chocolate. Place a leaf at the top of the pretzel at a diagonal, partially covering the stem, and touching the red chocolate. Let sit for an hour, until the chocolate is completely set. Remove from cooling rack and store in a covered container.
