25 Santas and Washing Machines!
<< All ArticlesAfter being on the road virtually full time right after Thanksgiving to complete the final leg of my book tour for ONE SIMPLE ACT, the next stop was New York. That turned out to be a whirlwind week with meetings with my publisher, agents, and also the chance to see some Broadway shows.
Wayne and I are now in our Florida home, where it is currently 76 degrees (don’t hate me!). It’s nice to settle into our winter home, set up my office, and get back to writing. Although it was tremendous fun to rub elbows with a star and 25 rather handsome Santas, I’m now back to real life. (You can view the fun little video right here on the main page of my website of the booksigning and media event I did at Borders Books with Doris Roberts and all those Santas to promote MRS. MIRACLE and THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS.)
The washing machine is churning; Bogie is asleep at my feet, and Wayne is asking how long until lunch. Ah, the romantic life of the writer–not that I’m complaining. This is just the way I like it.
