Our oldest grandson, Cameron, turned thirteen this week.   Not only was this a special birthday, but this is a special boy.  He’s incredibly intelligent  and handsome (but then I could be just a tad prejudiced).  I do, however, believe he is destined to be a famous writer.  First off, he was born under the light of the comet Hale-Bopp.  (Mark Twain was born and died when the Comet Halley passed by earth.)  Plus, Cameron lives on the land once owned by Frank Herbert, who authored the DUNE novels, and his grandma is a writer.  Born under the light of the comet, it’s in his blood and in the soil—how could he not become a writer?  One day look for books by our special grandson.
