Manatees and Fir Trees
I have yet to sit out on our patio for any length of time and fail to see either dolphins or manatees. Lately the manatees have been visiting our dock area. They are such lovely mammals and always cause a bit of excitement whenever Wayne and I see one. This morning we saw three!
I’m preparing to leave Florida for my spring tour. Before I fly to Minneapolis for my first "away" event April 27 at the Mall of America, I’ll sign at the Vero Beach Book Center here in Florida this Sunday. After my last tour signing at the end of May, I’ll travel to our home in Washington. As I prepare to leave Florida, I am dwelling on the beauty of our home here, but, at the same time, I’m eagerly looking forward to being in the lush evergreens and fir trees of our home state.
