On a recent business trip to New York I had a new publicity photo taken.  The publisher spared no expense.  They hired a photographer, a make-up expert and a stylist to dress me.  At one point there were five people working on me all at the same time.  I learned (and who knew?) I lacked in the eye lash department.  I don’t know how I’ve managed this long without those extra eyelashes.  The wonderful make-up expert (and he really was wonderful!) glued (and I’m not making this up!) individual eyelashes on me.  After the shoot I didn’t dare remove those glued on lashes for fear I would accidentally peel off a real one.
