What’s Important to a Writer?
<< All ArticlesI’m starting 1022 EVERGREEN PLACE, book 10 of the Cedar Cove series, this morning. I’d hoped to be much farther along by now but little things like Cedar Cove Days, anniversary celebrations and promotional demands crowded into my writing schedule.
I love every aspect of being a writer, but through the years I’ve had an insight about myself as an author: I’m happiest when I’m writing. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy meeting my readers, doing interviews, and all that is involved in my career, but in the end—and the beginning—I am a writer, and telling a story is what’s most important to me.
Got to scoot now. Mack and Mary Jo are anxiously waiting for me to get back to their story!
